  PHYSICAL FITNESS

Among the most difficult challenges faced by Law-Enforcement recruits are the physical requirements of the Police Academy. To assist you in this area, F4B will help you get physically fit to pass your entry exam and get accustomed to the training style you will encounter in the Academy. We strongly encourage all potential candidates to take advantage of this program.

 FIREARM TRAINING

Our experienced firearm professionals previously certified by the New Jersey Police Training Commission all have vast amount of experience training in commission approved courses. This course will give you step-by-step  requirements set forth by the Police Training Commission's Handgun Qualification Course "HQC1"  providing  you with the tools necessary to succeed.

  NECI 911 OFFICER/ EMD CERTIFICATION

This  911 Basic Communications course provides the basic knowledge, skills, and experience to understand the functional operation of an emergency communications system, and their role and responsibilities within the emergency communications system. 
 

This course meets the following national 9-1-1 standards:

  •  APCO ANSI National Public Safety 9-1-1 Training Standard

  •  NENA 56-004 – TTY/TDD Call Handling Standard

  •  NENA 56-005 - NENA Call Answering Standard

  •  NFPA 1061

  •  EMD Emergency Medical Dispatch

PRE-EMPLOYMENT PSYCHOLOGICAL PREP TRAINING  

Perhaps one of the most important but least understood aspects of pre-employment screening for law enforcement and other criminal justice careers is the psychological exam. Often one of the last steps in the hiring process for law enforcement officers is the psychological exam that can make or break your chances at a law enforcement career.

DEFENSIVE TACTICS TRAINING

Our program features both defensive and offensive techniques. The training deals with scenarios where, for any number of reasons, operators face life threatening situations in which higher force options cannot be immediately accessed. From this perspective, the operator must respond with sound, aggressive, unarmed defensive techniques and combatives until a transition to higher force options or safe control can be achieved.

RISK MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

F4B  risk management program is  designed for Government Agencies focusing on enhancing the overall well-being of employees, addressing specific lifestyle and behaviors associated with first responders.  Employees with chronic health conditions often have more workplace injuries and more costly workers' compensation claims. Our integrated risk management and wellness program cannot only reduce medical plan costs and increase productivity, it can also improve employee morale and health. 

 TAILORED NUTRITION PLANNING  

Personally tailored.  The last thing you need is a one-size-fits-all nutrition plan. "A dietitian is like an investigator seeking to learn about your current and desired state of health, F4B experts do a lot of talking listening and learning about your health history to determine your nutrition goals and outline a realistic lasting plan.

FORENSIC INVESTIGATION CLASS

This course provides an overview of forensic and medicolegal issues as they relate to the investigation of an individual’s death. Content includes how deaths are investigated, postmortem changes, common injury patterns and findings, cause and manner of death, special types of death investigations. All participants must be over the age of 18 as this course is conducted during a actual autopsy.
